Prana is a platform on which users can journal what they are feeling and the app will help balance the chakras based on the data received.
The significance of the platform is to build awareness of the importance of the 7 energy centers in the human body.

Chakras are the energy centers located in specific regions in our body. They carry information regarding the emotions you hold and are manifestations of how your surroundings affect you. There are seven chakras in a human body, each having its importance and area of focus. Each of these chakras is discussed in the next section.

According to popular belief, the basic human chakra system consists of seven chakras stretching from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. The term chakra appears to have originated in the Hindu Vedas. The chakra structure originated in India between 1500 and 500 BC, when the earliest yoga books, the Vedas, were written. But most Indian scholars consider that the chakra system was much older than that. Pranic Healing is a basic, but strong and efficient non contact energy healing system. It is founded on the basic tenet that the body is a self-repairing organ with the inherent capacity to heal itself.

Prana was a concept created for my college thesis. It was developed from a practice called Pranic healing. During the course of the project, I learned more about this practice and its significance. With the rapid increase in modern science, ancient science and practices are being forgotten and through Prana, I hope to build awareness and increase its belief in society.
