Overview
Lyfsize is a 3D body scanning technology that requires just two photos to accurately calculate body measurements. I was the Lead Ui Designer for the new app which has 1000+ downloads. We conducted activities to get accurate body measurements, circulated surveys, and interviewed users and merchants. I developed the web UI, branding, and identity for the application as well.

Introduction
Lyfsize provides 3D body scanning technology for mobile. It requires only two smartphone photos to calculate over 44 precise body measurements. The user can send their measurements from their own apps or take their photos when they visit the establishment and the app will instantly determine their measurements.
Save time and trouble
Users can send their measurements from their own apps or take their own photos when they visit a merchant/tailor and the app will instantly determine their measurements, saving time and expense. Instead of having them measured up, all it takes is two simple photos to get all the measurements a merchant needs to create bespoke clothing for them. Spend less time measuring and more time creating.
How does it work?
This is an overview of how the main function of the app would work to get a better understanding.
Design Solution
To save time and trouble by sending measurements to merchants with just two photos.
The following are the key features in the customer (primary user) application along with the landing screens.
Customer
The customer version of the application has 3 landing pages to give an overview of the app. These pages showcase that the user can look for a designer, get measurements with two pictures and view them.
Landing screens
Take pictures
In this key feature, the user takes two pictures of themselves to get body measurements. The app in turn gives the user 44 accurate body measurements to send a merchant.
After calculating the user's measurements, they can send their measurements to a merchant of their choice and get their clothing tailored according to the measurements sent.

Merchant
The following are the key features in the merchant (secondary user) application along with the landing screens.
The merchant version of the application has 3 landing pages to give an overview of the app. These pages showcase that the merchant can explore new territory, get measurements from customers or scan them.

In this key feature, the merchant takes two pictures of the customer to get body measurements. The app in turn gives the merchant 44 accurate body measurements to make clothing for the customer.

Learnings
The experience you get at working at a start-up is not something anyone can prepare you for. My role here wasn't fixed and gave me so much room to explore and learn. As a student who was in her second year, a tech company would have never given such an opportunity. I am truly grateful for the experience I got from Bigthinx. This was the start for my UI/UX journey and it is what got me interested in user experience design.
